Daniel B. (Brett) Jones, CPA joined the firm in July, 2009. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Society from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and also earned a Masters of Science degree in Accounting from East Carolina University.
Brett has prior experience in regional and local accounting offices where he assisted business clients and individuals with various tax and bookkeeping matters. When asked what he likes most about working at Roberson CPA Firm, PLLC, Brett said, "I really enjoy working in our family-like office environment, where we are able to develop our own, individual relationships with clients."
Brett was born in Jacksonville, NC and raised in Clinton, NC. He currently lives in Wake Forest with his wife, Amy and their spoiled, six-pound Yorkie named Molly. They are anxiously anticipating their first child in October, 2010. Amy teaches High School Spanish and History at Crossroads Christian School in Henderson and also plays the french horn.
When Brett isn't working, you can probably find him reading or playing the piano or clarinet. He also enjoys watching Carolina basketball and football. Brett attends Providence Baptist Church, where he plays the clarinet in the orchestra and is a member of the Young Married Adults Life Class. He is a member of the Durham Exchange Club, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.
